Steve Butler is truly local to Matlock and Wirksworth having lived at Starkholmes and Idridgehay and having been educated at Wirksworth. His maternal grandparents and great grandparents lived at Starkholmes and Cromford and worked at Arkwright's Cromford and Smedley's Lea Mills. Steve's first jobs were with Noel Wheatcroft and Sons on Dale Road Matlock and at St. Johns Street Wirksworth. Steve is a past member of Matlock Cycling Club and Matlock Golf Club.

RECENT RICS SURVEY AND VALUATION INSTRUCTIONS

Valuation and survey of a small house by our Bakewell Surveyors at Pomeroy a small village midway between Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne. The purpose of the survey and valuation was to help Derbyshire Dales Housing Association determine at what price to sell a rather dilapidated property. Our surveyors were able to make some suggestions as to where small amounts of time and expenditure might increase the potential sale price considerably.                     

Our Wirksworth surveyors valued an historic house at High Peak Junction midway between Matlock and Wirksworth dating from the early days of the Cromford and High Peak Railway. The valuation required our surveyors to make careful investigation of rights of way and parking arrangements.
